چکیده
Coral reefs provide a habitat for many marine organisms and support the safety, coastal protection, well-being, food economic security of hundreds millions people. The focus on coral species diversity cannot be overemphasized. One them, Astrogorgia, contains natural active substances, has important scientific research value application prospects. Most current substances genus Astrogorgia is based unidentified species, in-depth taxonomic studies are urgently needed. A total 1185 samples were collected from 2014 to 2021 in waters Xiamen Bay. Herein, morphological identification, electronic microscopy, gene fragment sequencing methods used study. There three identified, including lafoa, A. arborea, dumbea. Among lafoa arborea newly recorded China. distributed Qingyu Island, Wuyu dumbea widely Baiha Reef, Xiaobai Island. In this paper, geographical distribution habits 18 summarized, evolution family classification discussed. results enrich information records

Evaluation of species diversity and spatial distribution characteristics of five dominant plant species in Hamoon wetlands
This research aimed to investigate plant species diversity and spatial distribution of five dominant species i.e. Phragmites australis, Tamarix meyeri, Aeluropus littoralis, Aeluropus lagopoides and Cynodon dactylon in Hamoon international wetlands in 2015. To this end, a randomize-systematic sampling method was used according to w pattern by four strip transect at 5000 m2 at each station. The ...
متن کاملSoft Coral Sarcophyton (Cnidaria: Anthozoa: Octocorallia) Species Diversity and Chemotypes
Research on the soft coral genus Sarcophyton extends over a wide range of fields, including marine natural products and the isolation of a number of cembranoid diterpenes. However, it is still unknown how soft corals produce this diverse array of metabolites, and the relationship between soft coral diversity and cembranoid diterpene production is not clear. In order to understand this relations...
متن کاملNewly recorded species of the genus Synura (Synurophyceae) from Korea
Background: Species in the heterokont genus Synura are colonial and have silica scales whose ultrastructural characteristics are used for classification. We examined the ultrastructure of silica scales and molecular data (nuclear SSU rDNA and LSU rDNA, and plastid rbcL sequences) to better understand the taxonomy and phylogeny within the section Petersenianae of genus Synura. In addition, we re...
متن کاملThe genus Bebryce (Cnidaria, Octocorallia, Plexauridae) at Japan, with descriptions of three new species
Three new deep-water species of Bebryce from Japan are described and depicted using Scanning Electron Microscopy: Bebryce otsuchiensis sp. n., Bebryce rotunda sp. n., and Bebryce satsumaensis sp. n. Bebryce studeri Whitelegge, 1897, was reported from Japanese waters for the first time, bringing the total of Japanese Bebryce species to six. Five of these six species seem to be endemic to Japanes...

The Chinese representatives of the genera Chrysaster Kumata and Cameraria Chapman (Gracillariidae: Lithocolletinae) were studied. Chrysaster is recorded for the first time in China. Three species belonging to Cameraria, C. diplodura Bai, sp. nov., C. rhynchophysa Bai, sp. nov. and C. jiulianshanica Bai, sp. nov., are described as new. Chrysaster hagicola Kumata and Cameraria magnisignata Kumata...
